Four Ways To Include Giving In Your Wedding Planning

Weddings

23 May

Weddings are an important aspect in all couples lives that wish to tie the knot long term. It is a sign of commitment and companionship with the person you love most. Couples plan a wedding in order to share their special day with their family and friends and although a wedding day takes place for 24 hours, the planning aspect of it can take months or sometimes even years to put together. so how can we use this day to look after our guests and give them a memorable time? Stay with us as we walk you through four different ways you can promote generosity and inclusion on your big day!

Get It Right from The Outset

After successfully drafting your guest list, it is time to order and send out the invites! By writing to recipients in a manner that addresses them fondly, shows deep relation and acceptance to its reader. For instance, sending your guests a personal invitation and addressing them in a polite way can encourage a personal touch. Furthermore, you can personally go out and hand deliver the invitation to your local family and friends. This gesture is more bespoke and meaningful. For those that may live afar, be sure to give them a phone-call and ask about their wellbeing. Everyone appreciates a call that shows genuine care!

Favoring The Favors

A wedding has many different aspects that need to be looked into. Take for instance the process of venue selection. Once you have deposited a payment on your building, you must move onto décor and when you are happy with your choice of decorations, you plan finer details like the favors.

Favors are a great little gift for guests to take home and a brilliant way to remind them of your wedding day. Friends and family can keep your wedding favors as keepsakes or simply display them around their homes. Favors vary depending on budget and style. In some cases, the average wedding favors consist of personalized chocolates and sweets. In Islam, Muslim couples will host their wedding and use the opportunity to donate to a charity on behalf of their guests than give them perishable goods. For example, if a wedding were to take place prior to Eid al-Adha, then they could put together a note for each guest at their seats explaining how the couple have donated to a charitable Qurbani 2025. So ultimately the gift is intangible but spreads goodness to people who need help the most.

Food Galore!

Giving is glamorous so let us walk you through the next step of generosity. A wedding day consists of multiple events that help break up the day. From the reception to the ring exchange, the opening of the food and the dance, the wedding day can be very eventful to say the least! However, the part almost everyone looks forward to is when the food is served. Couples will usually order more than is expected to be served so there is plenty of food for everyone.

Why not consider packing that extra food for those who have gone that extra mile during the preparation of the wedding and during the main day. Distribution of wedding food to those that are proactive is a great way to be generously giving.

Everyone’s Invited!

A wedding guest list will consist of your loved ones, your family, your friends, your dear neighbors and anyone else that has been good to you. When photographers and videographers are booked, consider focusing on both you as the couple and getting all your guests in on the action too. Involving guests in all aspects of the itinerary such as taking pictures, being invited on stage, throwing petals during ring exchange etc. will prove to give your guests a fantastic time. everyone will feel included and happy to be a part of your special day.

However, you choose to plan your wedding, we hope you can derive a few tips from this article. Happy wedding planning!
