The Ultimate Beauty Guide for All Brides-To-Be

Lifestyle

29 Jan

There is so much pressure to look absolutely stunning on your wedding day. You want to lose weight to look as thin as possible, you want clear skin, beautiful hair, and a dress that shows off your figure in all the right places. All this pressure can cause a lot of stress, and even severe health complications if you take it too far.

You don’t need to try to diet until your waist is a certain number, but you do need to focus on your health if you want to glow from the inside and out. How you feel is what matters, so to truly look and feel beautiful on your big day, follow this guide:

Start Caring for Your Health

The secret to looking your best lies in your health. At the end of the day, everything we hail as being beautiful is just good health. Clear skin, white teeth, a slim body – all of these are indicators that you are healthy. That being said, there are exceptions. If you try to lose weight too fast, your body could become malnourished and you won’t end up looking better.

Instead, focus on building up your health by:

Drinking More Water

One of the easiest steps we all need to take is to drink more water and to stay hydrated. If you need an app to keep on track when you first start out that is fine, but try to drink the recommended 8 glasses of water per day. It will help you feel great, help improve your metabolism, help clear out toxins, and so much more.

Cutting Out Heavily Processed Foods

Saturated fats are hard to process in our bodies. They are also often full of useless calories. By cutting them out and switching to healthier alternatives, you can improve your diet, possibly even lose weight, and clear up your skin all at the same time. For example, instead of using butter, use olive oil. Instead of eating deep-fried fries, bake them, and so on.

Exercising More

Everyone needs to exercise at least 30 minutes per day. How you exercise, however, doesn’t matter. Take a long work during your lunch break, or head to the gym before or after work.

Don’t Be Too Fixated on Your Weight

You will look incredible in your wedding dress, no matter what weight you are. Your dress will be tailored to your body shape, and therefore, flattering. There are, of course, certain dresses that may make you for confident; for instance, if you do not like exposing your arms, lacey sleeves can give you a confidence boost. If you are in need of a plus size wedding dress, then there are many designers for you to look through and try.

Use Lingerie to Enhance Your Body

To look stunning, you need to understand and accept the body that you have. If you lose weight for your wedding, that’s fine, but you need to accept that there is only so much that dieting can do. It cannot make your natural waste thinner than your ribs. It cannot change your proportions. Instead of comparing yourself, it’s time to start dressing for your body and loving what you have. Look online to locate items you can’t find in store like beautiful plus size bras to make you look incredible on your wedding night. Bras can be difficult to shop for, and confusing. However, there are ways to find the perfect bra, regardless of the dress you are wearing.

One your wedding day, you should be focusing on the love of your life, your family, and your friends. Just being around these people who love you, in a dress that makes you sparkle, and with a big smile on your face can make you the happiest woman alive. When you are healthy, you are happier, and that will show in every single photo.
