Need to get out the house? After a stressful working week or the constant demands of children and chores, a proper mom’s night out is in order. Here are five fun mom’s night activities you can enjoy in the company of your best friends to help you unwind and distract your mind.

Go Wine Tasting

If you’re a fan of wine or want to learn more about how to enjoy a good glass of red, why not attend a wine class with your friends? You could go to a restaurant that offers this, or book a tour at a nearby vineyard.

For something different, you could even host your own wine tasting party at home. Invite your girlfriends over to your house and treat them to an evening of cheese platters & wine. Pair it up with chocolate tasting for something extra special.

Take a Food Tour

Get to know your own city more by tasting the very best your local eateries have to offer. Start the evening with appetizers and cocktails at one venue, followed by the main meal at another restaurant. End of your food tour with dessert and coffee at a favourite café, or enjoy a drink or two at a bar. You may even be up for some karaoke, so go on and let your hair down!

Gamble Online

Maybe you’ve always wanted to go to the casino. What about online gambling? As a group you can experience the virtual casino world from your lounge and try your hand at some online casino games.

Whether you’re based in Auckland, in Australia or anywhere in the world – there is an online casino you’ll be able to find. If it’s legal in your country, try out some of the top online casinos in Canada and take home those Canadian dollars. Online gambling might become your next favourite mom’s night activity. Who knows? One of you might end up as the poker champion or win at the slots.

Have a Clothing Swap

The last time you might have done this was in high school. If you’re looking to revamp your wardrobe, what better way than to come together with your clothes and swap them out?

This is a great opportunity for you to spring clean your cupboards and give away the clothes you no longer wear or fit into, & instead replace them with something else. Turn this into a mini fashion show, accompanied by some background music, snacks and drinks, & you’ll have hours of fun!

Host a Pinterest Party

How’s your Pinterest board looking? Maybe you’ve been saving pins during your lunch breaks or in the few minutes of quiet time before bed. Now’s your chance to hone your DIY skills. Host your very own Pinterest Party in the form of a mom’s craft night.

You could each bring your own DIY project to tackle, or work on something as a group together. Sit around the dining room table, and spend the evening eating & crafting away.

These are just a few creative ways in which you can spend time with your girlfriends. Why not make mom’s night a monthly activity? While you’re together you can brainstorm other ideas to look forward to in the coming year.
