22 Sep Sophisticated Ranch Wedding
This elegant ranch wedding comes from a wedding blog favorite- Southern Weddings with photography from Lauren Larsen. The wedding took place at the bride’s family ranch. Her father and her groom built the altar- a stone arch with a large cross on top. They used the same stone for the altar that built the house. The groomsmen wore light cotton suits with cowboys boots, and the ‘maids wore navy dresses with matching cowboy boots. The boots were the perfect gift from the bride and groom!
The bride choose a strapless mermaid gown with beautiful organza detailing on the bottom. To make it unique, the bride paired the dress with a flower lace detail. Her hair was placed in a low chignon up-do that showed off the lace bolero. A simple silver necklace complemented her look. The strappy silver snakeskin stilletos added a fun, glamourous, sexy touch. Her bouquet was filled with peonies, hydrangeas, anemones, cabbage roses, and tulips in shades of white, light orange, and green. The reception was held underneath a beautiful white tent and a lounge area of hay barrels and hides were set up just beyond. Perfect for photos!
